CODE: Γ19-09 | L: 40cm,W: 28cm,H: 72cm

Material: Brass

Artwork of 2012. It was presented at the solo exhibition "Mythology Backwards" by Giorgos Georgiadis at Sianti Gallery. Aphrodite was the goddess of female beauty and love. Perhaps of eastern origin, and in fact from Syria where there is also its most ancient sanctuary. But the most important is in Paphos, Cyprus. This Goddess could theoretically belong to another of the human races and here she now appears as a modern and colored Venus conversing with her son Hermaphroditus with the dual nature she acquired after her encounter with the Divine herald and messenger God Hermes.
