Sarantopoulou Christina was born in Agrinio, in 1952. She studied sculpture at the Athens School of Fine Arts, in D. Kalamaras studio (1971-1976) and Aesthetics in Paris (Sorbonne, 1978-1979). She has participated in more than 30 group exhibitions in Greece and abroad.

She has participated in more than 30 group exhibitions in Greece and abroad. She has received many awards, in Greece and abroad (Art and Culture Award – Rome, 1993, 1st Prize in Sculpture, Calaf Municipality of Barcelona etc.). Many of her works have been selected to decorate public spaces: “Paremvasis” (Kifissias Avenue, in Athens, 1989), “The World’s Sphere” (Paiania, 1995) and in the same year, yet another “Sphere” in Calaf Municipality of Barcelona.
