Small Paintings 2019

14 December 2019 - 10 January 2020

The “Small Paintings” exhibition has been connected with Christmas, as well as the moral rewards we gain when we make a present to someone we love.

The “Small Paintings” exhibition has been connected with Christmas, as well as the moral rewards we gain when we make a present to someone we love. This notion is also depicted in the creations of artists who dream of painting and then paint what they are dreaming of. Through these particular works – most of them 30×30 cm. in dimension – created by recent, as well as older collaborators of the Ikastikos Kiklos Sianti Gallery, the public will come in contact with many different techniques.

At the close of another exciting year full of sentiment and significant artistic events, the Ikastikos Kiklos Sianti Gallery organizes its yearly exhibition under the title “Small Paintings” which aims to bring all of us in touch with Art.

On Saturday, December 14, at 12.00, during the opening of the exhibition, art lovers will have the opportunity of watching two artists creating live a joint work which shall be given to the SOS Children’s Villages Greece. And since Christmas is a time of sharing, this year Christos Antonaropoulos and Panagiotis Siagris will be creating a joint work at the Ikastikos Kiklos Sianti Gallery, giving our visitors the opportunity of buying lottery tickets (which will be offered for the duration of the exhibition) at the price of 10 euros each, in order to have a chance of winning the above-mentioned work.
All revenues will be given to the SOS Children’s Villages and whoever is proven lucky, will win the artists’ work in the lottery which shall be held in the presence of Mrs. Anna Katsoulis who will be attending the event as a representative of the SOS Children’s Villages.
