Artwork of 2012. It was presented at the solo exhibition "Mythology Backwards" by Giorgos Georgiadis at Sianti Gallery. Leda was the daughter of King Thestius and Eurythemis, sister of Althaea, Hypermnestra, Iphiclus, Euippus, Plixippus and Eurypylus, wife of Tyndareus, mother of the Dioscuri Castor and Polydeuces, of Helen the Fair, of Philonoe Clytemnestra and Timandra. When Zeus saw Leda in Taygetus he fell in love with her and to conquer her he transformed into a swan with the help of Aphrodite who took the form of an eagle and pursued him. Leda took a liking to the bird and hugged it to protect it, as a result of which she laid two eggs, one of which was obviously two- legged, from which her first three children came. Leda after treated the swan as if it were an edible bird, a common phenomenon in the animal kingdom.
