Among the most prominent representatives of the 60’s, Christos Karas was born in Trikala, Thessalia, in December of 1930. An artist with many paths in various directions, he managed to bring with him a profound cut and a substantial break in Greek art in the 20th century. Starting with his early efforts with traditional tendencies, Kara proceeded rapidly to the painting that combined the colour of expressionism with the area of ​​surrealism, a language that, thanks to the talent of the creator, resulted in extremely expressive results.
