"At that time, painting in Athens gave me the impression of a field of solid black. The colors around me were brown and gray, but I was seeing white and blue seas, I saw light as yellow, sometimes aggressive and other times pleasant." Source: tovima.gr
Description
I am interested in keeping my feelings in order for them not to be derailed. This is my attitude towards art. I want the work to be readable, the viewer to understand what he sees without it being explained to him. In my work about Refugees, I want the homes and poverty to be seen. Drapetsona for me brings back memories of my childhood. Memories of how we use to gather water. Memorable images that have been stuck in my brain. In the works about Vietnam, I wanted to show the violence and the war. Perhaps that's why the Americans do not want them. But I’m negotiating giving them to Vietnam.Source: tanea.gr
