As the French philosopher, Roger Garaudy, once said: “Art is the shortest way from one human being to another”. In a similar context, Ikastikos Kiklos Sianti organizes its annual exhibition under the title “Small Paintings”, aspiring to a closer encounter not only with art, but with people as well.

At the close of another exciting year full of significant artistic events, the Ikastikos Kiklos Sianti gallery would like to celebrate its second year at its new premises by offering to art lovers the opportunity of admiring and acquiring small works created by great artists. The “Small Paintings” exhibition has become a favorite Christmas habit promoting the idea of sharing and bringing joy to the ones we love. It is all about the Christmas spirit. Our visitors will have the opportunity of coming in touch with many different styles and techniques through the art of 25 different artists (both recent and older friends of the Sianti Gallery), as revealed in works of small dimensions (approximately 30X30 cm).

The opening of the exhibition will take place on Saturday, December 15, at 12.00. During the exhibition, visitors will have the opportunity of buying lottery tickets for a work created by Mina Papatheodorou Valiraki, at the price of 5 euros each. The lottery, which will be transmitted live, will take place on the 12 th of January, in the presence of a representative of the SOS Children’s Villages. And since Christmas is all about sharing, Ikastikos Kiklos Sianti will once again offer all revenues to Anni Katsouli who will be attending on behalf of the SOS Children’s Villages.
